Well, NebulaGregarZX needed a new body for his character, and I just used Rock Volnutt to dig Protoman out of Vile's scrapyard. taking place in and around Zero 3, but before Zero 4. The reason this exists in the first place is I needed a character in an RP on GameFAQs Megaman Zero Collection board. All while hand-drawing the sunglasses on each frame. I openly admit this to be a recolor of Megaman X, because there's no getting around that.īasically, the process was recoloring X to Zero's palette, adding a pink buffer-shade from Protoman's 'Rockman and Forte' sprite, recoloring said Protoman sprite's scarf with Zero's hair palette, and careful arrangement of the scarf and a reshaded shield on the recolored sprites for decent animation. I originally only made the first sprite with the scarf, but decided, 'Hey, what the hell? I've got time and someone on Newgrounds probably could use the idea for a flash.' and proceeded to make the full sheet, using Megaman X's sheet for a base. This is a sprite sheet I made of a concept of 'Proto Man in X Series'. Protoman Y is my concept and my username on the Capcom-Unity boards. Megaman, Protoman, and X are all (C) CAPCOM
